Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Lead Teacher to join our team and lead our Two-Year-Old Classroom. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in early childhood education, a love for working with young children, and the ability to create a warm and nurturing classroom environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our youngest learners while working in a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
  • Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment where children feel valued, respected, and supported.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues through open communication, collaboration, and mutual respect.
  • Conduct ongoing assessments of children’s progress and communicate with families regularly to provide updates on their child’s development.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom space that reflects our commitment to excellence in early childhood education.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and stay current on best practices in early childhood education.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of experience working with young children in a preschool or childcare setting.
  • Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices and early childhood education theories.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and adapt to the needs of the children and program.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Compensation: $19.50 - $21.00 per hour
